From the months of May-August we choose a “Yard of the Month” within the Oakmont neighborhood. The winner each month receives a home depot gift card, and bragging rights!

Oakmont HOA will occasionally bring in a local food truck to park in our neighborhood for a few hours. Hanging out with your neighbors AND avoiding dishes all in the same night? Sounds like a win to us.

Each holiday season we have a contest for the best lights display/holiday decorations. The winner gets a $50 home depot giftcard!

Every 4th of July the children in our neighborhood are encouraged to decorate their bikes and join in on a bike parade to little Garrett Park. Popsicles are provided at the finish line for a sweet way to cool off.

A few times a year we choose a weekend for oakmont wide garage sales. This provides shoppers an easy way to hit up several garage sales and gets more money into your pockets! See our facebook for upcoming garage sale dates.

Oakmont HOA has “adopted” a spot along Monticello to keep clean. We have clean up days, which are a great way to get some community service hours. Keep an eye on our facebook to sign up for the next date. We provide the pickers and safety vests!
